Andrew Neff, PhD, is a graduate of the Translational Neuroscience Program at Wayne State University. His dissertation research focused on intestinal bacteria and their relationship with dietary fiber, tryptophan metabolism, and appetite. Besides doing and teaching science, Andrew enjoys doing graphic design, and writes for a psychology and neuroscience magazine, Mind & Brain Illustrated.

Carolyn Archer, MSc
Carolyn has Masters of Science in Epidemiology and over 9 years of experience in public health research. Her experience includes planning and managing research studies, training staff, recruiting and consenting patients, as well as conducting patient interviews and extracting data from medical records. She also has experience in conducting literature reviews, data analysis and preparing research proposals for external funding and manuscripts for publications. As a researcher in Dr. Paul Burghardt’s lab, she is managing a study examining the effects of aerobic fitness on brain function. Her primary area of interest is in nutrition and the prevention of chronic conditions. She is currently in the process of completing the Coordinated Program in Dietetics at Wayne State University.
